Did you know that you can find out who is ineligible to bid so you know you won’t see them come in and start bidding against you in that auction you’ve been dying to win? DealDash has win limits – to help provide an even playing field and equal chance for everyone to win, bidders can only win up to 6 items less than $200 (buy it now value) and 3 items valued more than $200 per week.
Curious about who is at their win limit? It’s easy to find out, all you have to do is go to your My Dashboard page -> Who’s on their limit -> Spend 1 bid and it will reveal a list of everyone who is on their limit and will be active and updated for 12 hours!
So you can see the bidders who are on their limit sorted in alphabetical order – on the left side as you can see below, are all bidders who are on their limit for items less than $200 and on the right more than $200. Pretty neat!
Use this “Who’s on their limit” list to gain a competitive advantage and as another tool to know your competition!

This recently ended Acer 17 inch laptop had a buy it now price /value of $516. It sold for just $8.02! That was only 802 bids placed by all participating bidders.

This next recently ended auction was another pretty good deal on a brand new HP Laptop – Split x2 Ultrabook 2-in-1 13.3 inch touch screen laptop. It’s also a one per user auction, it sold for $35.95. 
DealDash bidding tips for everyone:
If you want to win a laptop for less money you will want to be careful about how much money you spend in bids. DealDash has the bidder in mind with tools that could help you save. For instance, bid buddy! The bid buddy feature can be found and used in all auctions. All you have to do is set the number of bids to bid for you at a specified price range – when it should start bidding for you and when it should stop. You can set it then forget it, or you can watch it and add more bids if needed.
Another super deal that recently ended was for this HP Split 2-in-1 13.3 inch touch screen laptop with 4GB memory. It’s a one-per user auction and ended for $14.68 but the end price as waived due to a promotion on DealDash! (Be sure to watch for bid pack deals and auction price slash promotions). This is also a one-per-user auction win. Bids at $0.15-0.17 if purchased during recent bid pack sales, would make this laptop a super deal even if the winner just paid for bids and not the end price! Wow!?

Bidding is fun, but it’s even more fun when you can bid for less!
You have to purchase bids for a chance to win items on DealDash, as you do on all penny auctions.
Bidding is fast paced.
So you need to keep track of what you are spending. A great way to do this is with a simple spreadsheet on Excel.
Before you bid on a new anything on DealDash I suggest you open up Microsoft Excel, or if you don’t have Office, OpenOffice (it’s free). And start a spreadsheet – do this for every auction you bid on. Be sure to note how many bids you have when you start bidding and how many when you stop.
Jot down the amount of bids and money you spent to bid. Note if you won, or if you lost. Note when the auction ended and how many bids were placed after you left.
After about a month of bidding reflect back on this data. Spot a trend? Do auctions end soon after you stop bidding, or would you have spent more money than you did before you backed out? Hard to predict, but it’s important to plan to win or you will fail!
Keep track of your bidding + winning patterns so that you may be able to improve your bidding skills! Also watch ended auctions. Look at the items that end cheaply. Did they end late at night, wee hours of the morning? Was the item not that desirable? Was it? Watch live auctions if you have the time even if you don’t feel like bidding. Watch an auction and see how others bid. Use bid buddy if you want to bid, but don’t want to keep clicking the bid button.
Definitely take advantage of not just bid pack promotions but half off auction deals. Sometimes items have gone for as high as $50-100+!
