DealDash Tips for When You’re Out of Ideas

DealDash

Are you feeling stagnant and out of bidding ideas on DealDash? Maybe it’s time to go back to your roots!

Remember when you first started bidding on DealDash and everything was new and exciting? How you read everything you could about bidding, and how you watched videos to try and get extra tips and tricks? Those days might be behind you now that you’ve been bidding on DealDash for a while, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t turn back the clock and get back to being really invested in spending a lot of time studying up on bidding and strategy.  Let’s think back, with DealDash…

Are You Still Doing Research?

It’s important that you are still doing research on both products, categories, and bidders. DealDash has millions of registered users and gains hundreds more each day. Not only does DealDash get new users daily, it seems like they get new products practically every day as well. Just because you’ve been bidding for a while doesn’t mean that there aren’t still things that you can do research on and learn. Personally, I love reading the DealDash sponsored blogs written by other people. It always gives me different insights and tips.

Remember, research bidders and products in your spare time. If there’s a week that you don’t have any bids to use, visit the auctions anyway and take notes on the other bidders and the final auction prices of any of the items that you are interested in winning.

Does DealDash Still Excite You?

When I first discovered DealDash years ago I was so excited to get home and bid on DealDash. Instead of watching TV in the evenings I would just TiVo my shows so I could play on DealDash. Those were great days, full of excitement and wins and discovery. After a couple of years, though, I found myself not bidding quite as often and things just weren’t as exciting for me. Had DealDash changed? Nope! DealDash is still as exciting as ever, it was me who had gotten stagnant.

How did I get into a rut? By bidding on the same things over and over again. I was not only bidding on the same things, but I was also bidding the same way. Once I broke out of my rut and started bidding on different things and switching up my strategies then DealDash became as exciting as ever! Give it a try. Bid in a different category, bid on new and different things. Use a different strategy. All of these things will lead to getting back to the excitement and adventure that you once had.

Switch It Up On DealDash

What do I mean by “switch it up?” I mean, if one way of bidding on DealDash is not working for you, try something else. One of the best ways to “switch it up” is by changing the day or times of the day you are bidding.

You have probably heard a popular meaning of insanity–doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Likewise, if you play on DealDash the same way over and over again, chances are you will not have a different (or better) result.

Good Days, Bad Days

Long-time customers who have been having fun shopping on DealDash for several years already know that some days we might win several auctions and other days we might not win even one. Therefore, changing the days or time of day we bid might be just what we need to do to start winning more auctions.

Week Ends, Holidays

Fridays might be the best times to win auctions when other DealDash shoppers are going to movies or weekend parties. Other times, when other players get home from work, Friday evenings might be the busiest time of the week because some players might choose to use their leisure time to have fun on DealDash.

Holidays could be the best times to win auctions, too. Most likely, the majority of other customers might be too busy doing other things, such as traveling or spending time with family.

In other words, if we continually “switch it up,” we will eventually have a winning streak on DealDash and that’s when it’s most fun to shop.

Tips for Loving DealDash Even More

DealDash

There are lots of reasons to love DealDash. Here are just a few to remind you how great DealDash really is.

DealDash is the longest running pay-to-bid site around, and many people profess their affection for DealDash on the Facebook page as well as on SiteJabber. DealDash is easy to love. Most people who regularly read this blog know about features like BidBuddy and Buy It Now (BIN). Here are some other really good reasons to keep coming back again and again.

Awesome Reviews on SiteJabber

I mentioned SiteJabber above, and if you’re not familiar with it, SiteJabber is an independent website that accepts reviews for other websites such as DealDash. You can go to SiteJabber and search for any website and see the independent reviews that people have left for them. DealDash has a total of 3,883 reviews on SiteJabber, and a score of 4 out of 5 stars. An overwhelming 2,809 are actually 5-star reviews, and 448 of them are 4-star reviews. The 1 and 2-star reviews added together are barely even 400.

As a smart consumer, it’s important to read reviews of businesses and form your own thoughts and opinions about the company. I urge you to go check out DealDash on SiteJabber because you can get a very good picture of how things are run. I especially like how DealDash customer service responds to the bad reviews, it shows that they really care what the customers think.

Huge Product Selection

DealDash has a really great variety and array of products. It seems like a lot of other bidding sites only have electronics, or only have gift cards. There are so many different categories and different items within each category. I love how the selection changes often as well. Personally, I am a huge fan of the fact that they have a lot of jewelry on there now. There are also a good amount of decorative things on there now as well. I am an art lover, and I need more decorations for my house. It’s awesome to be able to find such good things on DealDash.

24/7, Baby!

Finally, another reason to fall in love with DealDash a little more is the fact that they are a 24/7 operation. Many of the other bidding sites have set times and hours and days. Not DealDash. They are there for you no matter what your schedule. That’s a huge perk for people who work odd hours.

DealDash Tips: Patience for the WIN!

Do you ever wonder how some people seem to win auctions regularly on a regular basis on DealDash? The answer is surprisingly simple—it’s patience!  It took me long time to understand this concept because it’s so easy to get caught up in wanting a quick win.

Having Patience After Getting A Quick Win

If you’re like most DealDash winners, somewhere along the line you’ve experienced that awesome quick win for just a few bids and a few pennies for a final price. The first time I ever bid on DealDash, I won a $10 gift card for just three cents and one bid! It was amazing, not to mention exhilarating. Bidders need to understand that these types of wins do occur every day on DealDash but they are more attributed to luck than anything else. If you want to keep winning, you will need to educate yourself on strategy and patience.

Setting Goals, Setting Limits

Determine which auctions you really want to win. Whether your wish list item is big or small, patience will play a key role in your success. You will certainly need to implore more patience for a big-ticket item as the auctions usually last much longer than smaller ones. And get ready to set limits, too. Know your bottom line and how many bids you’re willing to spend on each item. Then do your homework.

Researching Takes Time and Patience

Research takes time…and you guessed it—patience. Following the item you want over time (a week or more is a good rule of thumb), will enable you to get a sense of what days and times might result in a better ending price, if there are repeat bidders on the item, bidding patterns and average final ending prices. When you’ve done your research and are ready to bid, you’ll have more knowledge and confidence to get the win.

As Always, BidBuddy Helps

When it comes to patience, there is no better friend a bidder can have on DealDash than BidBuddy. Setting your bids ahead of time allows you to watch multiple auctions or walk away when you need to take care of other things. BidBuddy aids in the patience factor because you can let BidBuddy do the bidding for you and not worry about the auctions.

Patience for the Long Haul

It’s always exciting, when an auction ends sooner rather than later. But keep in mind that being patient often pays off. I don’t know how many times I got frustrated and impatient when an experienced bidder entered the auction and I left the auction to find that the experienced bidder merely made a one-bid appearance and the next bidder won! It could have been me winning the auction if I had only been—yup!!—patient!!!

So hang in there and use the proven strategy of patience to get the win on DealDash!
