DealDash Tips That Make You Go “Huumm…”

DEALDASH

There have been many tips given away over the years here on the DealDash Tips Blog. Here are some of the stranger ones.

The DealDash Tips Blog has been here to give you tips to help you win DealDash auctions. Some of the tips have been common sense, and some of the other tips have been a little “out there”. But remember, Even if a tip sounds a little weird it can still get results. Never be afraid to try something on DealDash, because there are so many different strategies and ways to bid. Read on for more information.

Only Bid During Free or Half-Price Days

DealDash often runs Free or Half-Price auction days. These days happen fairly often, usually once a week or so. During these days you can get excellent deals since you don’t have to worry about paying a final bidding fee or just paying half. This means that you can spend more bids during the auction, giving you a higher chance to win.

Bidding MORE Than the Item Costs

You might have seen some items go for more than the item costs. This is a common occurrence when DealDash offers its 3X, 4X, or even 5X Time As The Highest Bidder (TATHB) promotion. During this promotion, it’s quite common to see a $50 gift card to sell for $55 or even $60. When I was a new bidder I didn’t understand this phenomenon at all, but I have since gained an understanding.

The reason this occurs is that bidders want to rack up TATHB on their bidding meter in order to get free bids from DealDash. Remember, only the person who puts in the LAST bid will pay the price of the auction that’s shown on the screen, all of the other bidders can BIN (Buy It Now) and get their money back. They also get free shipping and to keep the clock time that they earned towards free bids. So basically, in this situation, the “winner” is not the person who won the auction, but the person who earned the most TATHB and was able to NOT win the auction, but to BIN the item for its face value.

What’s New on DealDash

We never know what might be new on DealDash.com.  That is why it is important to check back on a regular basis to make sure we stay up-to-date on any changes that might be made.

New Auctions

If you have not shopped on DealDash for a long time, you might be surprised to see some new auctions that DealDash did not offer in the past.

Some new auctions that DealDash just started offering for the first time over the last several months include:

  • 2018 Chevrolet Cruze Sedan LS – Automatic – Silver Ice Metallic.
  • Vacation packages to various exciting destinations such as Las Vegas, Miami, Florida, and other places in the world
  • Smart 49-inch 1080p Smart LED TV – 2018 Model, plus wall mount kit
  • Microsoft Xbox One X1TB Gaming Console

Doesn’t this sound interesting? The “No New Bidders” after $5 has been lifted for all of the above auctions, so new bidders are still welcome to join in on the fun.

Other New Changes

Along with some of the new auctions DealDash now offers comes another change. Most of the high-dollar auctions are now wide open for anyone to join the fun of bidding at any time. Check to see the auctions where the $5 lockout has been lifted and no longer applies.

On some of the auctions, DealDash also raised the previous $5 lockout to $10 instead. Therefore, new bidders were free to join the auction until the bidding reached $10. That gives more customers a chance to join the auction before getting locked out, so the competition might have been somewhat stronger in those auctions.

Be on the lookout for additional changes that DealDash might put to the test to see how we like it. This shopping site might be getting even more exciting in the near future.

Bid on Items You Dream of

Bid on what you dream of? You might ask, “Precisely what does that mean?” This implies, naturally, that you really should not just be tossing your bids about on just about anything and every little thing which you discover. This just does not make any good sense when a bidder does this. This often happens when you are a new bidder and you aren’t sure what to bid on. This is especially true when, as a new bidder, you haven’t yet figured out that there are auctions beyond the main page of the site.

Go Get It When You Want Something!

Precisely what I mean by this, is simply that in the event that you find the ideal item for you on DealDash, you ought to place sufficient bids in the BidBuddy to meet the list price. The reason that? This way, in the event that you still do not triumph in the auction after you have added the bids in, you can easily perform a BIN, or Buy It Now. This way you will receive each one of your bids returned. You’ll additionally receive fast and free delivery. If you are absolutely certain that you want an item, go get it!

This makes especially good sense if it is an item that you are planning on buying an item like this at the brick and mortar store, anyway. For example, if you are planning to purchase a full-priced desk at the store, then why not bid on a desk on DealDash instead? You might win the auction and get a huge discount, or not win and do a BIN instead. Either way, you are spending money on a desk, but by bidding on DealDash and winning you could get it for a much better deal.

Pay Attention to DealDash Tips from the August 15th Blog

The blog on August 15th was all about how reading the DealDash Tips Blog is to your benefit. One of the top tips from this blog was to be sure that you have enough bids to see you through an auction. From the blog:

“You would not want to run out of bids in the middle of a special auction. If you are participating in an auction that you have spent a lot of time and bids on, then running out of bids is never good. There is no pause button on the auctions, and your fellow bidders will not stop bidding because you need a “time out”.  ”
