Shopping For Pain Relief

DealDash.com is the favorite shopping site for many retirees, and now DealDash has an auction that might be of special interest to senior citizens – CBD pain relief heating patches.

It’s no secret that as we age the likelihood of us experiencing more aches and pains increases, but it’s difficult to enjoy life to the fullest if we are dealing with constant pain. Therefore, many senior citizens are looking for a pain relief solution that really works. The CBD pain relief heating patches just might be the answer.

A man grabs and stretches his sore lower-back while at work.
Unfortunately, many of us need to work daily to manage pain in some form or another.

Each packet contains 10 pouches and there are 4 patches per pouch. So far, there are not yet any customer reviews posted, but according to the product description, these patches “provide an ideal way to get long-lasting relief for a sore or impacted area.” Each patch contains 25 mg. of CBD; however, “these patches are THC-Free so we don’t have to worry about compliance rules in certain settings.”

When we stick these 3 by 3 inch patches to our skin, “they help to encourage blood flow around the damaged or sore area which may help to reduce the isolated inflammation and built-up pressure that causes the soreness.” Another benefit of using these patches is that “the heating affect can sooth chronically stiff and tight muscles and joints.”

This auction has a BIN of $180 but many winners have already won this auction at bargain prices. For example:

  • July 24, these CBD pain relief heating patches sold for 16 cents. The winner paid a total of only $1.05 including the cost of the five bids placed.
  • July 27, this auction sold for $1.29. The winner paid a total of $6.33 including the cost of the 31 bids placed to win it.
  • Aug. 3, this auction sold for $4.56. The winner paid a total of $17.76 including the cost of the 66 bids placed.
  • Aug. 6, these CBD pain relief heating patches sold for $1.91. The winner paid a total of $6.95 including the cost of the 30 bids placed.
  • Aug. 7, this auction sold for $2.05. This winner paid a total of $12.22 including the cost of the 56 bids placed.

As we can see from the many examples above, bidding on this pain relieving product could be one of the best opportunities for us to win a huge bargain.

Watch for it

The next time these CBD pain relief heating patches go up for auction is Aug. 8 at 9:19 p.m. Pacific Time. If you already missed it by the time you see this post, keep your eyes open because it will most likely come up for auction again soon.

DealDash also offers other products containing CBD, such as face crème that we might be interested in shopping for, too. That’s why it’s a good idea to sign in to DealDash every day so we are sure not to miss any new and exciting auction.

Happy shopping everyone!

Tic-Tac-Toe Shopping Fun

Have you checked out the awesome Tic-Tac-Toe auction on DealDash.com?

Children and adults alike have most likely enjoyed playing Tic-Tac-Toe hundreds of times. The question is: What makes this Tic-Tac-Toe game special?

Shoppers may be surprised to see the $890 BIN on this set of Tic-Tac-Toe, but that has not deterred anyone as it appears to be a fairly popular auction. Why?

Most likely it’s because this set is a very special and unique set that we probably would not find anywhere else. In fact, it might be the perfect gift to give to a friend or family member who already has everything else.

A tic-tac-toe board sits and is ready to be used!
Tic-Tac-Toe is a fun game you can play in only minutes!

This Tic-Tac-Toe set goes above and beyond any other set you have ever seen. This one is more than just a game. Each piece has been carefully crafted out of pine wood, and “each cube is delicately imprinted with a silver toned ‘X’ or ‘O’” In other words, this Tic-Tac-Toe set is so magnificently set into a sturdy wood frame that we could proudly display on our coffee table.

Best of all, all five of the previous winners (so far) have won this set of Tic-Tac-Toe for far less than the BIN. So far the best deal was won on Aug. 5 when this auction closed for only $8.79 and the winner paid a total of $36.39 including the cost of the 138 bids placed.

The history of Tic-Tac-Toe

According to my research, games played on three-in-a-row boards can be traced back to ancient Egypt, where such game boards have been found on roofing tiles dating from around 1300 BC. However, an early variation of Tic-Tac-Toe was played in the Roman Empire around the first century BC. However, the game was then referred to as terni lapilli, or three pebbles at a time.

The modern game we know as Tic-Tac-Toe is played on a nine-square grid created by drawing lines to create three horizontal rows and three vertical columns. The game has two players take turns in drawing either an “O” or an “X” in one square of a grid consisting of nine squares. The winner is the first player to get three of the same symbols in a row. This form of the game came out in 1969, the year of Woodstock and the first man on the moon.

Tic-Tac-Toe is designed to be unbeatable with no way to win outright. However, that does not mean players have to lose either. With the right strategy, we could easily ensure that we will never lose another Tic-Tac-Toe game.

When no one wins a Tic-Tac-Toe it is called a “cat’s game.” The concept is that a cat cannot catch its own tail, just like a player in Tic-Tac-Toe cannot win a game that is already tied.

Shop to Travel By Train

Do you enjoy traveling by train? If so, you are shopping in the right place.

Some new items on DealDash.com include gift cards that can be used to travel by train in the amounts of $10, $25, $50 and $100. Because gas prices are so high, even people who never before traveled by train are now looking at this mode of travel as a viable option.

Travelling by train can help you save money, reduce your carbon footprint, and to see new places.

I’ve always enjoyed traveling by train because we often cannot see anything while flying high in the sky, except on takeoff and landing. In fact, I’ve traveled thousands of miles by train. I took a train four times from Western Washington to my home state of Minnesota. From my own experience, I’ve discovered several reasons why traveling by train might sometimes be the best mode of travel.

  • When traveling by train during daylight hours we can enjoy seeing the view of the countryside. Sometimes tour guides will even give talks about the history of specific sites as we pass.
  • Sometimes during the train ride we can attend special passenger events, such as trivia questions. Anyone who answers correctly will have the opportunity to win awesome prizes, such as a bottle of wine.
  • Since there are usually more train depots than airports, we can often get closer to our destination by train than we can when we fly. It might even save us the cost of having to get a rental car, depending on where we are going and who we plan to visit.
  • I also enjoy meeting interesting new people when seated four to a table in the dining car of a train. For example, one man I met on the train said he and his nine brothers and sisters were all traveling home on 9/11/2001 to attend their mother’s funeral. Nine of the ten children were flying home on airplanes that were grounded. He was the only one traveling by train. Therefore, he was the only one of his mom’s ten children who got home in time to attend her funeral “I’ve been traveling by train ever since,” he said. We never know what we might learn from meeting and listening to other people. We each have our own unique experiences and stories to tell, and it’s easier to meet new people on a train than on an airplane.

The bottom line

DealDash offers a wide variety of gift cards we can use to purchase food, gas and even fishing gear. However, this is the first time I saw gift cards we can use to travel by train.

Wouldn’t it be nice to win one of these new gift cards to help pay for our next scenic train ride?

Men’s Dress Shoes

Have you shopped for the fancy men’s leather dress shoes on DealDash.com yet?  These shoes will definitely grab attention at any formal event. They would look absolutely stylish with a suit.

Can you picture the man in your life wearing such high-end shoes to church service or a family wedding? Not many men would go out and buy shoes with a BIN of $1,450.00. However, that’s what’s so great about shopping on DealDash. Even families on a budget can win shoes like this that they might otherwise never be able to afford.

DealDash can help keep your feet feel comfortable and look stylish!

Let’s take a look at some of the best deals past DealDash shoppers have already won on a pair of the size 11 men’s leather dress shoes.

  • July 25, this auction sold for $3.01 and the winner paid a total of $11.50 including the cost of the 50 bids placed;
  • July 14, this auction sold for $8.73 and the winner paid a total of $48.49 including the cost of the 225 bids placed;
  • July 17, this auction sold for $36.19 and the winner paid a total of $67.64 including the cost of the 302 bids placed.

Size 11 might be the most common size with the most competition for these shoes. After checking out the other auctions for sizes 8, 9, and 10, I see that even more DealDash shoppers won these shoes at great bargain prices. Before placing bids in the auction, we must remember to pay attention to the size. We might also prefer to shop for the brown shoes instead of the black.

One thing that makes these shoes so special is that they are meticulously cut from one whole piece of leather. Then they are carefully crafted with closed lacing in a distinctive Oxford style with a chisel toe and raised bump.

A brief history of shoes

According to my research, the first protective coverings for human feet were first used about 40,000 years ago and dates as far back as 2.5 million BC. It is believed the first simple shoes were made from animal skin and wood and were created more than 8,000 years ago. Moving up to about 4,000 years ago, shoes were made from rawhide and became more commonly in use. Middle Eastern shoemakers started producing shoes with heels to make walking across hot sand more bearable.

Here are some fun facts about shoes:

  • Sneakers were first introduced in Europe in the late 19th century, but they became more popular after American manufacturers started producing them in factories.
  • The average American woman owns 30 pairs of shoes and they spend an average of $300 on footwear every year.
  • Today most footwear comes from China. In fact, 98 percent of all footwear in the USA is made overseas.
  • Pointed toes on shoes became a symbol of wealth and power in Europe and mostly remained in fashion between the 11th and 15th century.
  • The most expensive shoes ever made in the world are a pair of shoes from Antonio Vietri and they cost almost $20 million.

The history of shoes also includes some strange wedding traditions involving shoes. For example, in Hungary the groom drinks a toast to the bride out of one of her wedding shoes; and in China, one of bride’s shoes is tossed from the roof. The shoe must be red and this gives the couple good luck in the marriage.

The bottom line

If you never owned an expensive pair of men’s shoes before, now you have the opportunity to shop for a pair on DealDash.com. Who knows! You could be the next winner!
