Christmas Tree Shopping

How many years have you been using the same artificial Christmas tree?

According to my research online, most Americans plan to keep their artificial trees for 10 years, but the average usable lifespan is six years. That’s great if we can get that much use out of our artificial tree, but perhaps it is about time to shop for a brand new one to add more sparkle to our holiday decorations.

After all, we are shopping in the right place…DealDash.com! Many customers have already won incredible bargains on brand new artificial Christmas trees that look strikingly natural. Best of all, the artificial trees on DealDash come in different styles and a variety of sizes – 4-feet, 5-feet, 6-feet and 6 ½-feet. For example:

  • One customer won a 4-foot Alpine Fir Christmas tree with a BIN of $190 for only 3 cents.
  • Another customer won a 5-foot Noble Fir Christmas tree with a BIN of $260 for only 6 cents.
  • Yet another customer won a 6-foot Fraser Fantasy Fir Christmas tree with a BIN of $330 for only 2 cents.

Can you imagine winning a bargain like that? We cannot even buy a candy bar for as little as that. Talk about getting a great deal! I’m sure those winners had a great day and we could still have the opportunity to join them because many more trees are coming up for auction very soon.

One of the trees coming up for auction again soon is a 6-foot, 5-inch pre-lit flocked Frisco Pine Christmas tree, with the amazingly low BIN of $82. How would like to win that beautiful tree with 787 flocked branch tips, 250 pre-strung clear incandescent lights and a metal tree stand. So far, five previous winners of this fantastic tree gave it a high review rating of 4.95 out of a possible 5 so we cannot go wrong shopping for this one.

Christmas Tree Bundles

What good is a Christmas tree with no decorations, right? No problem. DealDash has some Christmas tree bundle auctions coming up that includes some wonderful bulb decorations, too.

The Sweet Christmas Bundle, with a BIN of $655 includes a 5-foot Noble Fir tree, along with some incredible ornaments. One set of four ornaments includes sugar and sparkle ornaments (that look like holiday baked goodies) and three sugar and spice ornaments. These ornaments are very unique and I never before had ornaments like them.

Artificial trees provide a beautiful alternative to classic Christmas Trees.

The O’Tannenbaum Bundle, with a BIN of $875 includes a 6-foot Fraser Fantasy Fir Christmas tree, along with a set of three Waltzes of the Snowflakes ornaments, a set of four Winter Fantasy ornaments and a Treasure Trove ornament. Whoever wins this bundle will certainly be a happy customer.

Why Not a Real Tree?

Many families do not choose to use a real tree for some very good reasons:

  • Some people are allergic to the pine needles of real trees. Even if no one in our immediate family is allergic to real trees, often times our guests who come for a holiday visit do suffer from those kind of allergies;
  • Real trees can dry up if not watered and could pose a higher risk of a fire;
  • Real trees shed pine needles and sap and often result in a huge mess to clean up after the holidays;
  • Some people believe that artificial trees are more environmentally friendly since they spare real trees from being chopped down;
  • We do save a lot of money by having a tree we can use more than once.

All of the above reasons are why I switched from having a real tree to a realistic-looking artificial tree.

Happy tree shopping everyone! I’ll see you in the flocked Christmas tree auction. I’ve always wanted one of those trees but never before had one.

Don’t Miss Black Friday Week

That’s right. While most stores will offer special bargains on Black Friday for only one day, but DealDash.com is running Black Friday specials all week.

We will see “epic” promotions, “mega blast” auctions, discounts, flash sales and surprise hours. Some of the “blast auctions” will be mystery auctions designated with a question mark. Many of these auctions will feature hot (in demand) items like sophisticated interlocking block sets, video game consoles, and other popular consoles.

This week marks the beginning of the biggest shopping week of the year!

In other words, this will be a week DealDash shoppers will not want to miss. I’m especially looking forward to the “No New Bidders” after $1 instead of the usual $5. That will greatly eliminate some of the competition.

Here’s just part of what we have to look forward to starting now:

  • Monday: No new bidders after $1 Flash Sale from 4:00 p.m.to 6:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday: No new bidders after $2 Flash Sale from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Thursday: No new bidders after $1 Flash Sale from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Then again from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: No new bidders after $3 instead of the usual $5 for the whole day.

For more details of Black Friday Week events, scroll down to the bottom of the Home Page and read the DealDash article under the header of “Latest Blogs.”

Interlocking block sets

Perhaps you grew up playing with well-known interlocking block sets that keep getting better and more sophisticated all the time. You may want to shop for one of the many sets going up for auction during Black Friday Week. Since many adults still enjoy playing with the new building sets, as well as children, winning one of these auctions could become a family affair. How fun!

Some interlocking block sets listed for auction now or in the near future include four car building sets — A Ford Mustang; a Chevrolet Camaro race car; a Porsche race car and a Bugatti Chiron race car building kit. Anyone who has a strong interest in race car sets might want to conduct a search and click on the “Alert Me” button so you will not miss those auctions. Other interlocking block sets include:

  • An International Space Station building kit with 864 pieces has a BIN of $83. It has already gone up for auction at least six times and sold for as little as $17 counting the cost of bids.
  • A Millennium Falcon set has a BIN of $189. It has already gone up for auction many times before and has sold for as little as $6.14 counting the cost of bids.
  • A castle building set has a BIN of $474. It has already gone up for auction several times and sold for as little as $11.78 counting the cost of bids.
  • An Entertainment System Building set has a BIN of $272. It has already gone up for auction several times and sold for as little as $48.65 counting the cost of bids.
  • An Expert Assembly Square set has a BIN of $332. It has already gone up auction many times and sold for as little as $193.80 counting the cost of bids.
  • An Apollo II Lunar Lander Building kit has a BIN of $118. It has gone up for auction several times and sold for as little as $11.48 counting the cost of bids.

If you want to know more details, conduct a search in the space bar provided in the upper right of the DealDash Home Page and read the entire auction description.

Bottom line

This holiday season we could avoid the high cost of gas and shop from the comfort of home. We are sure to see some auctions we never before saw that we would like to put under someone’s Christmas tree. Why deal with parking hassles and crowds when we can have the DealDash shopper’s paradise right at our fingertips?

The best thing of all is that if we do not win, we can BIN (Buy It Now) and get all our bids back free. Sometimes we can even get double our bids back for free. What could be better than that?

Missing Socks No More

Did you ever have a “missing sock” problem?

Finding a pair of matching socks can be a common frustration. I don’t know if socks get separated in the laundry or what happens to them, but most people I know have had some “missing sock” experiences.

Well, if you shop for socks on DealDash.com, you might never have to look for a matching sock again – not if you win 96 pair of socks in one auction. No joke!

No wardrobe is complete without a pair of socks for any occasion, and in every color!

As of this writing, DealDash has one active auction in which the winner will actually receive a whopping 96 pair of men’s basketball socks. Now what could we do with that many pair of socks? We could give them to an entire basketball team, or donate them to homeless people to help keep their feet warm this winter, or we could keep them ourselves and never run out of socks again. This package of 96 pair of socks BIN for $624.00.

Upcoming sock auctions

If we do not want to shop for men’s socks DealDash has many more sock auctions coming up for women and children, too. Upcoming sock auctions will include:

  • 60 pair of black, gray and pink double-layer cozy crew socks for women with a BIN of  $360.00
  • 120 pair of cushioned crew socks for women with a BIN of $899.00
  • 72 pair of red, green and blue ankle socks for boys with a BIN of $240.00
  • 180 pair of crew socks in various designs and colors for youth (boys or girls) with a BIN of $539.00
  • 120 pair of memory foam liner socks in size S/M with a BIN of $240.00
  • 48 pair of knee socks for women with a BIN of $311.00

Just think how many Christmas gifts we could take care of if we win just one of these sock auctions.

Honestly, I learned the hard way that new socks might be one of the last things some children want to see under their Christmas tree. When my sons were young they entered a Santa letter-writing contest. They were to write a “thank you” letter to Santa for what they received the previous Christmas. The prize was a free season pass to a local water park. My son Ryan wrote, “Dear Santa, Thank you for the stupid socks you gave me last year. Please do not make the same mistake again this year.” To our surprise, he won!

As adults, however, I think we can truly appreciate some nice warm socks. In fact, the more socks I get the better and merrier I’ll be.

The bottom line

If all of these sock auctions on DealDash do not put shoppers in sock heaven, nothing will!  Happy shopping and I will see you in the sock auctions!
