High Quality Earrings

DealDash.com has some new high quality earrings for auction that would be sure to please any woman with a strong sense of class, style and sophistication.

Unlike any earrings we would find in any average retail or discount store, these earrings featuring “a striking geometric pattern” would definitely add a special touch to any well-dressed woman. Best of all, several winners already won them for only a fraction of its full retail value.

A new pair of earrings is a great treat to start off Spring!

These beautifully designed earrings have a BIN of $260 but check out the bargains listed below that previous winners received:

  • On April 2, this auction sold at 69 cents and the winner paid a total of only $3.29 counting the cost of the 13 bids placed
  • Again on April 2, this auction sold at $1.29 and the winner paid a total of $3.89 counting the cost of the 13 bids placed
  • A third time on April 2, this auction sold at $1.66 and the winner paid a total of  $12.86 counting the cost of the 56 bids placed

As you can see from the three examples above that high-quality earrings and other jewelry can be some of the best shopping bargains we can get on DealDash.

A brief History of Earrings

According to my research, earrings have remained popular for more than 7,000 years, and originated in ancient Asia. Egyptians once wore earrings to signify that they were wealthy or of a higher class, and the British Museum has gold earrings from Egypt that date back to the 19th Dynasty (1200 to 1186 BC).  However, in ancient Rome, earrings were worn only by slaves. Ancient Sumerian women’s earrings are the earliest earrings archaeologists have discovered and are typically gold hoops.

The earlobe is associated with financial stability and social status, and through the years earrings became a symbol of womanhood and a sign of identification. More than that, however, in the ancient worlds, it was believed that the spirits enter a human body by way of one’s ears. Therefore, during this period, earrings were worn primarily for the purpose of protecting oneself from the destructive spirits and energies. To many women today no outfit is complete without a pair of beautiful earrings.

The tradition of ear piercing started about 5,000 years ago and was traced back to Europe’s oldest mummy named Otzi, who was found on the border between Austria and Italy with her ears pierced.

During the hippy movement in the late 1960s, men started wearing earrings as a symbol of rebellion and non-conformism. In the 1980s guys who wore an earring in the right ear meant the wearer was a homosexual, and a guy who wore an earring in the left ear meant the wearer was straight.

Each wearer, like other accessories, selects the style of earrings they prefer – studs or dangly earrings, hoops or even tunnels. It’s an individual choice.  The heavier the earring, the more likely the ears are to sag. Ear sagging happens over time and occurs in women who frequently wear heavy earrings. The thickness of the wearer’s ear lobe also determines how heavier earrings will affect the individual.

The bottom Line

If we want to shop for a very impressive pair of high quality earrings without paying an arm and a leg to get them, DealDash.com is the right place to find just what we want.

An Exquisite Chess Set

Do you like to challenge yourself to keep your mind active?  Perhaps you know someone else who does.

Then you will not want to miss out on the DealDash.com auction featuring this exquisite chess set with a BIN of $300.00. According to the auction description, this set is “handcrafted by local craftsmen using mango wood from India,” which really makes this set stand out that anyone would be proud to own. In fact, a chess set like this could be handed down from generation to generation.

A hand knocks over a chess piece, ending the game with checkmate!
Chess is a beautiful game – even more if you have a special board and pieces!

Looking at the past winners of this auction, it’s obvious that some DealDash shoppers are willing to pay a lot more than $300 to own a quality set like this. However, at least four previous winners were able to win this chess game at a bargain price. For example:

  • On April 14, this auction sold for $7.78. The winner paid a total of $56.58 including the cost of the 244 bids used.
  • On April 12, this auction sold for $15.78. The winner paid a total of $48.49 including the cost of the 203 bids used.
  • On April 11, this auction sold for $19.24. The winner paid a total of $49.52 including the cost of the 238 bids used.

The above examples show some shoppers have already won a great bargain on this unique and exquisite chess game.

A Brief History of Chess

The history of chess can be traced back to nearly 1,500 years, beginning in India and from there spreading to Persia. From there the game of chess was taken up by the Muslim world and went from there to southern Europe. Once it went to Europe the game pieces’ names and appearances were changed to resemble an English court

Ches (Chess) is an acronym for Chario (rook), Horse (knight), Elephant (bishop) and Soldiers (pawns).

A study involving 4,000 second-grade student showed that after 4 ½ months of studying chess, it significantly increased their IQ score.

According to my research, “The game of chess has been found to be addictive because of increased levels of hormones such as dopamine providing a feeling of euphoria and happiness and, according to my research, thus the brain associates that feeling with playing chess.”

It is believed that playing chess “enhances critical thinking skills” and one of the main reasons chess is difficult is that it requires players to adapt at a moment’s notice. In other games, we do the same thing over and become better at it, but that isn’t the case with chess. “Because you’re playing against someone else, you have to be able to adapt to them to win.”

The Bottom Line

After finding out about some of the many benefits of playing chess, perhaps we should all learn how to play the game if we don’t already play it, and now we have the opportunity to win the game on DealDash.com.

Any one of us could be the next shopper to win a great bargain in the chess auction, so I will probably see you there.

Happy shopping everyone!

Impressive Cufflinks

DealDash.com has some new high-end cufflinks coming up for auction, and three winners already got them at an awesome bargain price.

The logo design on this set of polished stainless steel and highly durable cufflinks indicates they come from Paris, France, so they will no doubt please even the most sophisticated men who dress to impress.

A stylish man adjusts his cufflinks.
Cufflinks can be the ”cherry on top” for a great outfit.

These quality cufflinks have a BIN of $495 but on March 26 all three winners (at the time of this writing) got them for the following bargain prices:

  • The auction closed at 14 cents and the winner placed 2 bids and paid a total of 54 cents.
  • The auction closed at $1.43 and the winner placed 55 bids and paid a total of $12.43.
  • The auction closed at $3.60 and the winner placed 107 bids and paid a total of $25.00.

I doubt any of us could even find a discount store where we could get better bargains than this.

A brief history of cufflinks

According to my research, cuff links first appeared in the 1600s, but did not become popular until the end of the 18th Century.

Prior to that, men held their cuffs together with ribbons or ties. In the 17th Century, the upper class started using small chains that were fastened to the end of a gold or silver button.

French tailors and jewelers soon started adding semi-precious gemstones or stamped designs to the gold and silver buttons. That’s when the cuff links were born.

Today cufflinks are sometimes considered to be the ultimate luxury corporate gift. They can be the perfect way to commemorate momentous moments such as promotions, mergers, Father’s day, special birthdays, retirements and/or Christmas presents.

Today’s cufflinks also come in a variety of designs and can even be custom made with initials, family crests and corporate logos. They may even be marked with birthdates of a man’s children. For example, a man who has two sons might the birth date of his first son on the right and the birthday of his second son on the left cufflink. They could also be marked with the date of a man’s wedding anniversary.

Cufflinks have become an important part of every man’s overall fashion and are especially important to upper class men who pay close attention to every detail.

Women can also wear cufflinks especially designed with a more feminine touch that could be designed with pearls.

The bottom line

Support Ukraine

DealDash.com is making a gigantic effort to support Ukraine, and we can help.
A special auction has been created for a DealDash customer to win a virtual Meet ‘N’ Greet with Ryan Arey, the host of Screen Crush, and 100% of the auction proceeds will be donated to relief efforts in Ukraine.

There are many ways to offer support to Ukraine and those affected by war!

This special auction will begin this week, and no new bidders will be accepted after the auction reaches $100. I don’t know all the details on how the BIN of $10,000 will work, but if some shoppers choose to pay the BIN of $10,000 to get all their bids back for free at the end of the auction, arrangements will also be made for those shoppers to get scheduled to have a virtual Meet ‘N’ Greet with Ryan Arey, too. That means Arey could end up doing more than one virtual Meet ‘N’Greets. If anyone has a question about this, it might be a good idea to contact DealDash customer support.

According to the description on this auction, it is a rare opportunity for shoppers to win a virtual, one-on-one Meet ‘N’ Greet with this “illustrious host.” Evidently, Ryan Arey has a huge following of fans “for his reviews of movie & TV shows, breakdowns, analysis, Easter eggs and video essays from the popular YouTube creator of Screen Crush.”

We Americans are known for our generosity when it comes to helping others in need. If you have been watching the news of Russia’s attack on Ukraine you have seen images of some of the most vulnerable – women, children and the elderly. Thousands of their homes have been completely demolished and the millions of Ukraine’s displaced families are in critical need of food and water supplies, hygiene kits and cash assistance.

We can only imagine how devastating it would be for us to have our homes destroyed and be left with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Hopefully, DealDash shoppers who can afford to actively participate in this auction will do so – not just to win but mostly just to generously support the unfortunate refugees from Ukraine, who are struggling to survive.
Thank you, DealDash, for creating this special auction to help these brave people from Ukraine!
