DealDash Tips: Time to Win Camping Gear

Coleman Elite WeatherMaster 6 Person Tent

Spring is in the air, and it’s time to think about camping! Here are some tips for getting some awesome camping gear on DealDash.

It’s getting nicer outside as the days go by, and it’s time to think about pulling out your camping gear from the garage or basement. If you see that your gear has seen better days, then it’s time to browse on DealDash for some replacements. If your gear is in good condition, you should check out DealDash, anyway, because there are some great new camping items available that you might not own yet. Here are some tips to getting the best camping gear for the best price, from DealDash.

If Your Tent Has Seen Better Days…

Having somewhere comfortable to sleep is paramount when you take a camping trip. If your tent is a bit old and raggedy, it’s time to search for a new one on DealDash. Since tents are made from nylon or other types of cloth, they aren’t meant to last forever and occasionally need replacing. DealDash has an assortment of different tents for you to choose from, such as the Coleman 6 person tent that you see in the picture above. This is a nice choice for a family who loves to go camping together and enjoy nature. If you prefer to camp solo or with just a friend or two, DealDash also has smaller tents available. Any tent that you win or BIN (Buy It Now) will be brand new and carry the manufacturer’s warranty.

Oversized Cool Weather Bag by Coleman

Sleeping Bags

If you have your tent taken care of, what about your sleeping bag? A sleeping bag can really make or break your camping experience in terms of comfort and sleep. The sleeping bag pictured above is made by Coleman and offers a comfy place to bed down when you’re in the outdoors. This Coleman cool weather sleeping bag is made for camping temperatures between 30 and 50 degrees, which is perfect for a chilly (but not too cold) Spring overnight. If you would prefer something that can handle even colder weather, DealDash has those, too. Just click on this link here and you can check out the sleeping bags on DealDash.

Bid Now, Camp Later

Depending on where you live, it might not be camping weather yet. However, this shouldn’t stop you from bidding on camping items on DealDash. Often, if things aren’t quite in season yet there are fewer bidders who want to participate in these auctions. Give it a try! And remember, if you don’t win the auction, you can always BIN it for the retail price and receive all of your bids back as a “thank you” from DealDash.

DealDash Tips to Scope Out the Competition

dealdash

There are lots of reasons that you want to scope out the competition on DealDash. Here are some ways that you can accomplish that with some tips from DealDash.

Why would you want to examine the competition on DealDash? Many reasons! For starters, if you can recognize when people typically bow out of auctions it could be very helpful for you. It is also helpful to know who truly is “in it to win it or BIN it” or if they really only spend 20-50 bids before giving up and moving on. These are only a few of the reasons why it’s helpful to learn about your competition. Read on for some tips and tricks on how to effectively scope out the competition on DealDash.

Don’t Bid – Just Observe – for Now

If you’re a newer bidder on DealDash and haven’t spent hundreds of hours watching auctions on your screen, then you might want to start by just watching auctions before you bid. This way you can get a feel for how long people typically stay in an auction, how many people stop bidding by $1 or $2 or $5, and also start to get familiar with some people’s screen names. This can be very handy information to know for the next time you are interested in participating in a similar auction.

 Check Out the Winners

If you go to the main DealDash homepage and look at the top navigation bar you will see a tab called “Winners”. This tab has information on some of the most recent featured auctions that have closed within the past 24 hours on DealDash. If you click this tab you can see:

  • The item
  • It’s title
  • The winner’s name and their avatar
  • How much it sold for
  • How many bids the winner placed
  • What the estimated cost was for the winner
  • What the BIN (Buy It Now) price is
  • How long ago the auction closed

All of this information is extremely helpful when you are scoping out the competition. It’s good to check the Winner’s Tab every time you sign-in to DealDash to see what’s being won and for what price.

 Make Notes

When you are scoping out the competition on DealDash, it would behoove you to make notes as you go along. There are so many different items and bidders on DealDash that it can be a little tricky to keep things straight after a while. This is especially true because so many people have similar bidding names – are you really going to remember if it was iLIKEtoWIN12 or LuvTOwin26 that bids until they reach the BIN price? You can make your notes on your “notepad” app on your computer, you could write it into an email that you send yourself, or you can even just use a plain old piece of paper and a pen. It’s up to you.

Tips to Start the Week on DealDash

DealDash

Let’s start out your week right with DealDash Tips. Here are some tips that you’ll want to keep in mind as you’re bidding this week.

Starting the week off right on DealDash is an important thing – it can set the pace for the whole week. You will want to start bidding early and often to get a quick win so you can gain confidence in yourself as a bidder. You don’t want to start off your week bidding on DealDash on a bad note. Here are some tips that you’ll want to use to get your week started out right!

Start Out Small at the Beginning of the Week

As I mentioned above, it’s important to get your week started off right with a quick win. So this is why I suggest that you pick something small at the beginning of the week and get a quick win. If you can find an item that doesn’t have too much competition, then it would be worthwhile bidding on it to not only get a confidence boost but to get the ball rolling for lots of wins this week. You might try a piece of jewelry, a small bid pack, or a $10 gift card. These are items that don’t typically have tons of competition, and if you can find one that only has a few people bidding then you should go ahead and jump right in for a win.

If You Don’t Want the Item…

I just suggested bidding on something small in the beginning of the week. If you see an item that you’re pretty sure that you can win easily but it’s not something that you’re really that interested in, why not bid on it anyway? If you get it for a great price, then you might consider exchanging it for bids.

Personally, I don’t typically exchange things for bids if they aren’t my “cup of tea” because I have a box that I collect things in all year round to use as gifts. If I can get something for an awesome deal on DealDash that isn’t my taste or size then I get it anyway and keep it in the box. I can use it for holidays and birthdays throughout the year for friends, relatives, neighbors, and even gifts for my kid’s teachers.

Are You Ready for These DealDash Tips?

DealDash

Are you ready to be an amazing bidder? If you’re a newer bidder on DealDash, there are some things that you’ll want to know. Read on for more information from DealDash.

Being a great bidder on DealDash takes time, patience, and perseverance. If you possess those qualities, then I have no doubt that you will end up being a great DealDash bidder. All you need is a little bit of information and time to practice and you will be winning auctions before you know it. Are you ready?

Don’t Be Shy – Fill Out Your Profile

One of the first things that you should do to get ready to be a great DealDash bidder is to fill out your profile. You’ll want to either choose a pre-made avatar, or you can even upload your own. You can make it a picture of yourself, your dog, your favorite TV character, whatever you like, as long as it’s G-Rated. We don’t want anyone to feel uncomfortable with your picture.

After you have chosen or uploaded an avatar, then you can fill out your profile. Your profile isn’t very long or involved. It’s basically just a sentence or two that you want to tell the other bidders. Again, please keep it G-Rated and friendly. You have to be an adult to bid on DealDash, but many kids like to watch while their parents bid, so let’s keep things clean, guys.

Take the Tutorial

The next thing that you’ll want to do is to take the quick tutorial that DealDash offers to all of the bidders on DealDash. If you’re not familiar with the DealDash tutorial, then you’ll want to be sure to take it. You will learn about DealDash and score a few free bids while you’re at it.

The tutorial is simple to find. Just scroll down to the very bottom of the page, and look under the “Help” heading. The tutorial is the third choice down. Just click on it, and you will be taken to the tutorial screen. There are just a few steps to follow, and it will teach you exactly what you need to do to participate in a DealDash auction.
