Rationing Bids So They Last Longer

When shopping on DealDash.com there are several different ways we can ration our bids to make them last longer.

Bid Saver 1

Experienced shoppers use BidBuddy, the automated bidder, so our bids are not used until or unless they are needed. New customers often waste bids by placing one bid at a time from the home page because they have not yet found or know how to use BidBuddy. Double click on the auction you want to win and place your bids into BidBuddy.

DealDash

Welcome to the DealDash Top Tips Round-Up for Friday, August 10th! The Top Tips Round-Up series is the only way to get the best tips of the week if you missed any of the weekly articles.

Hi, DealDash auction fans! This evening we have the next August edition of the DealDash Top Tip Round-Up. In this educational and fun weekly series, we highlight the top tips and best suggestions from the previous week. The Top Tips Round-Up is all about DealDash tips and important information bidders who use DealDash. You’ll need to read this article so you don’t lose out on any tips, tricks, or ideas. Read on for more details.

Conserving Bids from the August 4th Blog

The theme of August 4th’s blog was all about ways to conserve bids on DealDash. The top tip of that blog was simply to get a bid in before the No Jumper limit is reached and then sit back and watch. From the blog:

“ If you want to conserve your hard earned bids, a great way to do that is not to bid continuously. If you’re bidding on a higher priced auction such as a laptop, television, or vacation, though, this can be a super strategy to save yourself some bids, and therefore, money.”

No Jumper Limit of $10 from the August 6th Blog

The blog on August 6st had interesting information about bidding this week on DealDash. On this particular day the No Jumper Limit had been raised to $10. How do you feel about that? Do you hope that DealDash does that again in the future, or do you hope that they stick to $5 or even $3? Here’s what the blog had to say:

“However, today the limit is $10. This is excellent news for some of the larger auctions that typically end for over $1,000. The major thing that you need to remember for this promotion is to be sure to get your bids in before the auction reaches $10.

Badge Info from the August 7th Blog

The blog on August 6th had a few suggestions on which badges are easier and harder to earn on DealDash. There are many different badges, you should take the time to check them all out. Here are 3 easy ones to win, according to Barbara, who was the author of this great article:

New Best Friend — Book two BidBuddies. This is an easy badge to win because it only requires a few bids.

Story Time — Write something about yourself in your Bidder Bio. This is also easy to do because we only need to write one or two simple sentences. Some bidders attempt to use this section by making statements to intimidate others, but that’s against DealDash policy.

Worth a Thousand Words — Set a customer avatar for your profile. I chose a photo of myself but DealDash has plenty of other avatar icons customers can choose.”

Getting Your Bid’s Worth from the August 8th Blog

The blog on August 8th had suggestions on how to get your bid’s worth on DealDash. There are many ways, but in my opinion, the best way is to take advantage of the free bids that DealDash often offers. Here’s just one way, from the blog:

“For example, you can get bids for completing special challenges that you learn about by signing into the site and checking what’s written on the banner of the main page. Just click here and take a look and see if there are any special challenges going on today.”

Have You Been Using these DealDash Tips?

DealDash

We give out so many helpful hints here on the DealDash Tips Blog. Have you been paying attention and using these tips?

It would be very hard to remember all of the tips that are here on the blog, and everyone isn’t expected to know everything! However, the more tips that you remember and follow the more beneficial that it will be for you. Here are some of the tips that you should definitely be remembering and using often.

Check the Price of Bids Daily

Remembering to check the prices of vids every single day can save you a lot of money in the long run. There might not seem like a big difference in a .16 and a .12 bid price, but there actually is! Just by doing a little simple math you can see the HUGE difference that it can make.

If you wanted to buy a pack of 5,000 bids, the largest pack, here is the math:

5,000 x .16 = 800!!

5,000 x .12 = 600

So you can see, just by waiting for the bid prices to come down to .12 you can save $200!

Enjoy the Browsing

One of the best things that you can do on DealDash to save money and bids is to be sure that you are browsing on the site. There are lots of reasons for browsing. Here are a few:

  • Get familiar with the products offered
  • See the frequency that your favorite items are offered
  • Get familiar with the other bidders
  • See what prices your favorite items typically end
  • See what new items are offered

So you can see, there are a lot of reasons why you should spend some time browsing on DealDash each day.

Today is the big day! The Chevrolet Cruze auction starts in an hour, at 5PM Eastern Time. Be sure that you are prepared and that you have your bids purchased and ready to go. And the good news for you is that this is an auction that the “No Jumper Limit” has been removed, so you don’t have to get your bids in before the auction reaches $5. The other good news for you is that bids are on a SUPER SALE today.
