While you will have to start somewhere before you can get free bids, DealDash offers auctions for brand new bidders: beginner auctions. Beginner auctions can be found after you register for an account, on the homepage. Bid and win these ones to start so you get a feel for how the bidding process works and when you receive the item be sure to snap a picture and share it on social media.
So, that’s our first tip for new bidders to DealDash.

What do you bid on after you win beginner auctions?
Well, of course you need to be careful with what you choose to bid on. You really need to bid on items you both want and need.  So that’s easy. Pick items you really want. And then try to win them. If you don’t win by bidding you could use buy it now and get all of your bids back.
But how do you know who to bid against or who not to big against?
That’s a tough question.
It’s not easy to predict bidding patterns of competitors, BUT! – you can, and really should, research your competitors.
Who are they? Well, you may not really know, but they give you clues. Some post profile statuses and some will even try to intimidate you. Just don’t fall for it. See how many items they’ve won this month. Look and see if you see them on the winners page. Did it look like they spent a lot of bids? Does it look like they win a lot consistently? Take notes. You may not want to bid against someone who has been around awhile and really knows the ropes. First start small by bidding on beginner auctions then work you way up. And, don’t forget to post your wins to social media for free DealDash Bids!

Today I made this fabulous juice in my VitaMix – it consisted of 1/3 a pomegranate, a handful of frozen blueberries and strawberries, 1/2 a cup of mango kefir (a probiotic yogurt drink), a handful of spinach, and one small beet. Put it all in your blender and then liquify.

How do you stay motivated? My answer is quite simple. Use the bid Buddy! Greatest tool on the site because you can load it with the number of bids you want and forget for awhile. I always come back and check my bids just in case it is down and I need to add more.
I have been on Deal Dash for over a year and have won a lot of nice things really cheap. My time that I bid is in early in morning and around 430-500pm. This seems to be the best time since I am in the eastern zone.
I also watch the winners list to see what people are paying for the item I like to bid on.

When you are the highest bidder, in any auction, you will earn time towards your next level. When you reach a new level you will start to receive free bids. What’s even better is the more levels you reach, the more bids you get!
Look on the bottom of any page on DealDash.com – you’ll see a status meter on the very bottom, it’s to the right of your name and bid count and shows your current level and your time as the highest bidder.
You are the highest bidder every time you are the highest/unopposed bidder in an auction – the time you were the highest bidder gets calculated and is displayed next to the meter. The time in the countdown clock is the amount of time you need to reach the next level. When the Claim Bids button is activated you can click claim bids and reach the next level.
