Shop for Cold Weather

Did you see the new jackets DealDash.com has up for auction?

Cold winter weather will soon be here so it might be a good idea to start preparing for it now.

I learned the hard way that I should have dressed more warmly when I went on a long train ride. On my return trip I came home with a nasty head cold because the train was already a little too chilly. You do not want that to happen to you.

Let’s take a look at some of the coats and/or jackets that DealDash now has to offer.

Women’s Puffer Jacket

Did you see the beautiful dark peacock puffer jacket?  This quilted design jacket features an attached hood with adjustable draw cord and elastic binding on cuffs and slip-in hand pockets. No doubt this jacket could keep a person nice and warm on pretty cold days.

The jacket has a BIN of $165 and a couple of the best deals past winner received so far are:

  • Sept. 22, this jacket sold at 85 cents and the winner paid a total of $5.08 including the cost of the 25 bids placed, and
  • Sept. 20, this jacket sold at $2.05 and the winner paid a total of $12.82 including the cost of the 59 bids placed.

Who knows we could be the next shopper to win a great deal.

Men’s Sweater Sleeves and Puffer Jacket

Now is the time to shop for this men’s jacket with sweater sleeves and puffer vest because there are only seven of them left. It looks like the perfect jacket for fall.

This jacket has a BIN of $150.

Special features of this quilted vest jacket with full zip closure include sweater sleeves with ribbed cuffs, an attached hood and it is wind resistant.

Men’s Parka Polar Jacket

This men’s parka polar jacket has a BIN of $299 and it’s really made to keep a person warm in cold weather. This jacket is made of 100 percent polyester and has soft fleece and smooth taffeta lining. It has a zip front with snap placket and a fixed hood. It includes a zip chest pocket and patch hand pockets with snap flap closures. It also has stretchy rib-knit cuffs with an inner draw cord waist.

Some of the best bargains past winners received so far are:

  • Sept. 22, this jacket sold at 7 cents and the winner paid a total of 61 cents including the cost of the 3 bids placed;

Do you have a sports fan in your family? If so, you are going to love shopping for some of the sports items coming up for auction on DealDash.com.

Time is flying by so quickly that in just a few more months it will already be time to start Christmas shopping. Therefore, I started looking for some auction products on DealDash that would make excellent Christmas gifts.

I wrote a blog about sports auctions a few months ago, but some of the sports items are new auctions just \now coming in, so I thought I should write about it again. Going Going Gone

That’s what happens to the auction products included in the “Inventory Liquidation Week” on DealDash.com. These items will soon be all gone. Therefore, if we want to shop for them, now is the time to do it.

All of products designated for inventory clearance are marked with a round blue circle with a box in the middle. They also have a yellow and black stripe across the top and bottom of the auction. It is sad to see some auction items eliminated. At the same time, it is exciting to see more brand new items come up for auction.

But before some items sell out that we may never see again, let’s take a look at more of these items that are now designated for liquidation.

Braided Sun Hat

Do you like hats? I do. In fact, I love hats and always have because hats can serve many purposes. They can help us look more dressed up or they can help us cover up thinning hair when we get older. This braided sun hat, with a circumference of 22.5 inches and a brim of 3.5 inches will simply serve to protect us from getting burned from too much sun.

So far, it appears past winners really like this pretty braided sun hat. After 54 customer reviews, this sun hat received an overall rating of 4.88 out of a possible 5.0 which is pretty good.

This braided sun hat has a BIN of $189.00. However, if we compare the BIN to what we might pay to win, we will be pleasantly surprised. So far, some of the best deals past winners received are:

  • Aug. 23, this braided sun hat sold at 71 cents and the winner paid a total of $4.71 including the cost of the 20 bids placed;
  • Aug. 22, this braided sun hat sold at 88 cents and the winner paid a total of $6.22 including the cost of the 30 bids placed; and
  • Aug. 22, this braided sun hat sold at 98 cents and the winner paid a total of $5.54 including the cost of the 27 bids placed.

All of the above wins represent a pretty good savings that we would most likely never find anywhere else.

Small bag (purse)

At first sight, when I saw this bag, I thought it was a baby bib. I was so surprised to see that this is actually a small bag that measures 7.5-inches high and 8.5-inches wide so it would make a great purse for your daughter or granddaughter.

In fact, one of the former winners wrote in her review, “Gave this to my granddaughter for her birthday. She takes it everywhere. It is so well made.”  Evidently, many other former winners agree with this. So far, out of 82 customer reviews, this bag, which measures, received an overall rating of 4.93 out of a possible 5.0 and that’s a very high rating.

Some of the best deals previous winners received so far are:

  • Aug. 23, this small bag sold at 36 cents and the winner paid a total of $2.36 including the cost of the 10 bids placed;
  • Aug. 23 again, this small bag sold at $1.88 and the winner paid a total of $4.68 including the cost of the 14 bids placed; and
  • Aug. 23 again, this small bag sold at 25 cents and the winner paid a total of $2.25 including the 10 bids placed.

We can see from the fantastic deals previous winners won that this may be one auction that could be fairly easy to win.

The bottom line

Many other great items will soon be gone. Now may be the last opportunity to win them, so I’ll see you in the auctions!

Inventory Liquidation Week

Every once in a while DealDash.com has an “Inventory Liquidation Week” to make room for more new products?

All of products designated for inventory clearance are marked with a round blue circle with box in the middle. They also have a yellow and black stripe across the top and bottom of the auction. It may be a good idea to check all of these auction items first because it might be our last opportunity to win them.  Once they are gone, they may never come back.

Let’s take a look at some of the DealDash auction products that are now designated for clearance.

Boxing Gloves

This pair of black and white boxing gloves has a BIN of $220.00. So far, some of the best deals past winners received are:

  • August 21, these boxing gloves sold at $1.38 and the winner paid a total of $1.98 including the cost of the 3 bids placed;
  • August 21 again, these boxing gloves sold at $1.03 and the winner paid a total of $3.03 including the cost of the 10 bids placed; and
  • August 21 again, these boxing cloves sold at $2.16 and the winner paid a total of $8.56 including the cost of the 32 bids placed.

The glove weight runs from 12 to 18 ounces, and each weight is designated for specific fighter weights. The 12-ounce gloves are for fighter weights of 120 to 140-pounds; the 14-ounce gloves are for fighter weights of 140 to 160 pounds; the 16-ounce gloves are for fighter weights of 160 to 180 pounds and the 18-ounce gloves are for fighter weights of 180 to 200 pounds. Therefore, this is something shoppers will want to check out when shopping for these gloves.

The glove dimensions are 12-inches by 6.5-inches by 5-inches, and the materials to make them is premium cowhide leather. Each pair of boxing gloves also comes with a carry bag.

So far, based on 12 customer reviews from past winners, these boxing gloves received an overall rating of 5.0 out of a possible 5.0, so that’s as good as any rating can get, which says a lot about the quality of these boxing gloves. One customer with past boxing experience wrote, “The gloves are good quality with a safety feature where the thumbs are attached (making it) less likely to get a thumb in the eye.”

A stunning gemstone

Did you ever shop for a gemstone?  This square 0.08 CT (DEF – Colorless) gemstone has a BIN of only $35.00 so we could easily use the BIN if they don’t win, and get all our bids back.

Nonetheless, this gemstone has been selling at bargain prices. So far, some of the best deals past winners have received are:

  • August 21, this gemstone sold at only 16 cents and the winner paid a total of 36 cents including the cost of the 1 bid placed;
  • August 21 again, this gemstone sold at 49 cents and the winner paid a total of only $3.89 including the cost of the 17 bids placed; and
  • August 21 again, this gemstone sold at 95 cents and the winner paid a total of $4.75 including the cost of the 19 bids placed.

Therefore, if we want to win a gemstone at a bargain price, we might want to shop for this gemstone before it is no longer available.

Poetry and short story book

Hey, this is my book and now it is part of this Inventory Liquidation Week, too. Oh well, at least my book got some very good reviews. Based on reviews by 15 past winners so far, my book received an overall rating of 4.93 out of a possible 5.0.

So far my favorite book review from a past winner wrote, “I’m a hard core tech guy, and cranky. Nice work, Barbara, you went and made me happy for a spell. Thank you.”

If my book made at least one reader happy, it was well worth writing.

Half of my book is poetry and the other half is short stories. Nine of the 11 short stories are true. A few of them include humor. The poetry is divided up into sections of love poems, religious poems, family poems, seasons, character sketches and that’s life. Each section of poems includes photos and each short story includes photos, too. Many of my poems are humorous and most of them are easy for anyone to understand.

The bottom line

If you want to win any of the Inventory Liquidation Week items, you better shop now before they are all gone. I’ve already won a few auctions at the same time I was writing this blog. Thank you, DealDash!
